Butterfly Bookmark Pink Amber Crystals

March 9th, 2009 No comments

The Butterfly Bookmark has an antique design and sits atop a golden bookmark with ornate floral etching. The butterfly sits within a gold border surrounded by dark and light Pink Crystals on an enamel background with varying shades of green, pink and bronze pattern-work. It is completed with one dark amber and three light amber crystals down the centre. The enamel is protected by a clear tarnish-resistant lacquer.

The butterfly bookmark stands 10cm tall with the wings spanning 8cm wide. This is a wonderful gift idea of high quality, yet at an affordable price. Comes packaged in a black gift-box.

Dust Storm

March 1st, 2009 No comments

Late yesterday afternoon we experienced a dust storm just before sunset.  We’ve never seen anything quite like it before and it took us a while to work out it was dust.  It blocked out our view of the mountains and valley and gave it a very eerie effect.  Perhaps it was a combination of the wind, dryness and time of day.  Take a look at the pic to see what we saw.
