Late yesterday afternoon we experienced a dust storm just before sunset. We’ve never seen anything quite like it before and it took us a while to work out it was dust. It blocked out our view of the mountains and valley and gave it a very eerie effect. Perhaps it was a combination of the wind, dryness and time of day. Take a look at the pic to see what we saw.

We attended the GHA and Reed Gift Fairs in Sydney last weekend. It was our most successful Trade Fair to date. We have on order lots of fantastic products.
Ok some hints… We have tried bookmarks and they have sold a storm. We have therefore ordered a large range with butterfly, dragonfly, frog designs and more. Beautiful trinket boxes with lots of crystals, some of the best designs you will ever see.
Anniversaries get some attention with some really lovely photo frames to cover most anniversaries.
One of the best additions will be a range of high-end desk quality clocks that can be personalised…stay tuned!
There will be lots more new to Shared Memories, probably too many additions to talk about right now. Most of these new products will be available during March 2009.

We’re beginning to get things in order here at the farm! Our Lady is settling in too, but we don’t think it will be her final resting place. She certainly has a nice view over the valley. There’s a lot to do here and she will probably relocate to the paved area at the back of the house – that is when we actually do the paving. But for now she can enjoy her view from the veranda. Couldn’t resist taking a photo and sharing it with you.
