Australian Deliveries

  • Delivery by Australia Post.
  • POSTAGE FREE for all deliveries in Australia - Australia Post Standard (non-trackable).
  • REGISTERED POST with tracking and signature required on delivery – $3 charge. Available for most products.
  • EXPRESS POST for deliveries in Australia.  A $12 charge applies for regular parcels sent by Express Post. Note: If you are located outside the Express Post Network please allow an extra 1-2 days for delivery (depending on location). Available for most products.
  • Once we lodge the goods with Australia Post, we are only able to track it’s progress if you choose Registered Post or Express Post.
  • When you choose Registered Post, a signature will be required on delivery. If you are not home, a red/white card will be left in your mail box. You will need to collect your order from your local Post Office.
  • Once orders are posted, we cannot accept responsibility for goods not delivered on time. We strongly advise you to place your order well in advance of when you need it to ensure it arrives on time.
  • All orders are carefully packaged to ensure their safety.
  • Incorrect shipping information may result in the product not being delivered. The cost of any reshipped products due to incorrect address information is the customer’s responsibility. Therefore, please double check all shipping information carefully before you submit your order, especially the postal/zip code information.

When will you ship my order?

  • We normally ship your order within 48 hours of you placing your order. If your item is to be produced (Porcelain Gift or Photo Crystal), your order will be shipped within 24 hours of our scheduled production time – normally only a few days.  Orders for personalised Station and Colonial Clocks please allow approx 1 week for delivery.
    NOTE: This depends on your payment being accepted and cleared, and our warehouse stock levels. We will advise you of any delays. 
  • Engraving products does not delay shipping. 
  • Our delivery times are estimated and based upon advice by Australia Post. It is important that you allow sufficient time for delivery as delays can sometimes occur during shipment by Australia Post.  If you are located outside a metropolitan area please allow an extra 1-2  business days for delivery.  
  • Once your package has been posted, Shared Memories takes no responsibility for the timely arrival of any goods. Please contact Australia Post or refer to the Australia Post website for more information www.australiapost.com.au. Our location is Regional NSW. Gifts delivered to SA, WA, TAS and NT may take longer. Please refer to Australia Post for delivery to your Post Code.
  • Please note that during busy period times of the year such as Christmas, delivery times may be extended.


What happens if my order hasn’t arrived yet?

Once we lodge your goods with Australia Post, we are only able to track your parcel if you choose Registered Post or Express Post. Here are some points to note:

  • Please check with your local Post Office. In 95% of cases, the goods are there.
  • If there is no one at home to accept delivery, Australia Post should leave a red and white card notifying you to collect the item from the local post office.  In some cases Australia Post MAY NOT leave a card.  If your goods have not arrived within a reasonable time period and no card has been left, it is always a good idea to check with your local post office.
  • In some areas (particularly remote regional areas), the delivery may be delayed for a variety of reasons such as weather, unavailability of local delivery person etc.
  • We have found that it is very rare for a package to be totally lost. Almost always they turn up. Most turn up within a reasonable time. Please allow extra time where possible for postage…just in case.
  • Please note that during busy periods of the year such as Christmas, delivery times by Australia Post can be extended.

 


Can I have my order sent directly as a gift?

Yes.  Just ensure you enter the correct shipping address.

We offer a complimentary card and gift wrapping service for orders being sent directly as a gift.  Please let us know if you would like this service and the wording required for the card.



International Deliveries

At this time, Shared Memories does not ship to destinations outside of Australia.



I am located outside of Australia & wish to order a product for delivery in Australia

  • Orders delivered to Australian destinations are POSTAGE FREE via Standard Australia Post. You also have a choice of Registered Post (tracking & signature required) for a small additional charge.
